Here is a big collection of 3d models (mostly of 3ds max and obj format, for maya i have created saparate folder). A few of them are freely available for download but it was hard for me to sort that out so i leave the choice to you.

Most models are saparated in folders to maintain catogory but still many are unsorted.

Models are from:
Naruto (a few characters from naruto shippuden games).

DBZ (massive collection of DBZ characters but in very low poly as game is very old, you can do subdivision to make it more appealing).

Marvel (these are in \”Avengers\” folder as i like that movie, It contains capt. america, iron man, hulk, lady hulk, batman, poison ivy and many many more, also subfolder has many characters few of which are unknown to me).

Rigged (these are rigged characters which i downloaded for free and sorted out but dont remember from where).

Street fighter 4 (all characters from street fighter 4 arcade edition).

Mortal Kombat (characters from Mortal kombat i.e. scorpian, lieu kang, shaokahn, sonya, kitana and others).

It also includes objects like barrels, weapons and vehicles.
