CrypKey Instant offers the same functionality as CrypKey Software
Developer's Kit (SDK) differing only in the way you implement the
software into your product. CrypKey Instant wrap executable files
and requires no source code programming, CrypKey SDK requires you
to program function calls into your application. CrypKey Instant
protects your product by writing an (invisible) signature to your
hard drive. Part of the CrypKey Instant advantage stems from its
trial period feature, which allows users to try your product for
a limited time without authorization.
CrypKey Instant allows developers to accomplish the following:
- turnkey protect software products against unauthorized usage
(this easy-to-use solution requires no associated components)
- limit software usage to number of days or software runs
- communicate authorizations via phone, fax, or email
CrypKey Instant uses neither hardware, nor disk keys and includes
a conversion program to protect distributors' executables.
