English: M. Wolska (1996), several color pictures, a map and a city guide. You'll find a short compilition of the city's history and a description of the sightseeing points. There are pictures with this points and a short tour-explanation through the "Old Town" of Elbing.

Neben einem Abriß der Elbinger Stadtgeschichte findet man in diesem Buch einige neuere Farbfotos von den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten wie z.B. das Museum, das Werftgebäude der Schichau-Werft, das Markttor und die St. Adalbert Kirche. Ein kleiner Stadführer, in dem die wichtigsten Stationen der Besichtungstour beschrieben werden, runden das Buch ab. Am Schluß findet man ein kleines Lexikon mit polnischen und deutschen Orts- und Straßennamen und ein Stadtplan der Altstadt.

A little city guide, which describes the sightseeing highlights is the next chapter. At the end of the book you'll find a dictionary with the german and polish names of streets and villages and a map of the "Old Town".
