Ker Dukey and D H Sidebottom are two of my favorite authors and to find that they were writing a book together was beyond exciting. I love dark books and the last book that Ker Dukey wrote (Empathy) was my favorite of all of her books it took me on a dark path that just blew me away, and D H Sidebottom had released a dark and completely unnerving book of her own (The Decimation of Mae). I just could not see how the ladies could even possibly come close to the amazing stories that I just read from the two of them. When I started reading FaCade I knew the big reveal that would happen because someone accidentally said something to me, but the entire time I was reading the book I was so enthralled to where it was taking me that I forgot all about it. This story was so dark and unforgiving that the entire time I was hating and loving and hating even more. The relief I finally felt after all of the cards were left on the table was entirely unsettling because if anything I have ever learned from these two ladies is that nothing is ever as it seems and I am sure that book two will lead me on an even crazier path than this book. I loved the way that this books just flowed, it was flawless and you would never know that there were two authors because I swear these girls hold the same wavelength when they are working their thought process. I cannot wait for book two to completely screw my mind.
