Bound in Blue is, by far, my favorite in the Love Square series! Don't get me wrong though, this is absolutely a stand alone. If you've followed the series, you'll love seeing Jacob and Kara again, but for those that are just joining, you will not be lost at all. This book is about Shane "Mack" MacAllistar, a Detective and partner of Jacob Matthews, our MC from books 1 and 2, and Megan Huntley, an Emergency Room physician. They both have demons that they can't get rid of Mack lost his wife from cancer years ago, and Megan lost her twin sister to a murderer and she blames herself for it. They both refuse to get into relationships, fearing that they'll lose the one they love again. Mack and Megan settle on the next best thing though, an intense sexual relationship with no commitments. What starts out as casual sex, soon turns into something more when Megan's life is threatened and Mack is determined to protect her.
