I have to say, I think this book is tied with it's prequel "Mad Tinker's Daughter" for my favorite J.S. Morin book! All my favorite characters and then some. More action and intrigue as the rebels start to amass their army. It's hard for me to tell why I love it so much without giving away major plot points (I don't think saying that rebels are amassing an army given the title, especially if you already read the first book in the series). If you've read the Twinborn trilogy you'll probably enjoy this book even more. Not only do you see some of the worlds you've come to know, but there may or may not be some small cameos by some prominent twinborn in this book. Just read it already!
