Just wow. Survivors was excellent. Meredith built on book one, adding a number of emotional scenes and both, a new villain and a new hero of course as in book one the hero is about as unlikely as you can imagine a six year old girl and her stuffed zebra. The only negative was the death of one of the main characters. I thought for sure that he would live or be rescued, but he died and I was a bit shellshocked and for the next thirty pages I was sure all the characters were going to die. Very much on the edge of my seat.
