Eli and Harper are stubborn, smart, strong and likeable even though Eli sometimes comes off cold and difficult. The author does a great job of letting us inside their heads. You get them and feel like you know them. As Eli learns how deep the corruption is and Harper learns of the corruption,their lives will never be the same. The chemistry between them sizzles. I will not give the story away. You should read it for yourself. Tarah's attention to detail is outstanding and makes the story feel real. The weaving of perspectives is a talent as she creates a smooth,exciting story that leaves you wanting more.
