The eighth season sees Dr. Kelso's replacement arrive; Dr. Taylor Maddox
(Courteney Cox-Arquette), who quickly makes a lot of changes affecting the
way doctors treat patients, Elliot and J.D. finally discuss their true
feelings for each other, Janitor and Lady (Kit Pongetti) marry, while Dr. Cox
is promoted to chief of medicine, J.D. prepares to leave Sacred Heart to move
closer to his son, along with Elliot. Turk is also promoted to chief of surgery
at Sacred Heart.
