Based on the current political situation (1950), the book examines the phenomenon of pan-Slavism in the world of Slavic backgammon. Russia is considered as a defender of the Slavs and the myth of pan-Slavism is based (according to the author). There is a triumph of nationalism of individual Slavic nations as an opponent of pan-Slavism (led by Russia). A separate chapter examines the role of Orthodoxy. Also, the author notes the separate path of Yugoslavia, which did not want to go in the wake of the new incarnation of pan-Slavism (already in the guise of communism).
The book was published with the assistance of the London Institute of International (World) Relations.
