R2 is a reverb with attitude. In many ways, it harkens back to classic reverbs of the 80's and 90's. The reverb tail is fat and full of movement. The chorus controls can even add subtle (or unsubtle) pitch effects. Whether it's a choir or a power ballad, R2 adds a rich character to the mix. But it doesn't end there. Like its little brother PhoenixVerb, R2 can also create rooms and plates of its own. The gate control has found special applications as an auto-ducker for dialog mixers or even for traditional mixes keeping the reverb under control. R2 is a traditional reverb with a modern attitude.
