A good jockey knows when it's time to bow out, and Josh Swallow is planning to exit in style. He's ridden over
100 winners and landed all the big prizes in the sport - except one. He's determined that this season the title of
champion jockey will be his.But not everyone wants Josh to succeed. There's Ben O'Brien, the brilliant young Irish
rider who's already got a significant lead on Josh in the championship race. Top trainer Leo Lovall was once Josh's

About The Reader
Steve Hodson was born in Yorkshire, and trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama, London. He has worked
extensively in television, taking leading parts in Follyfoot, Big Pete, Little Pete for Jackanory; The Legend of
King Arthur and A Horseman Riding By. His radio career includes regular contributions to Radio 3 and 4 drama, as
well as the roles of Rupert in Waggoner.s Walk and Martin in The Archers.
