William Blake, Lord Byron, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, John Keats, Percy Bysshe
Shelley, and William Wordsworth. The CDs, except for those dedicated to Keats
and Blake, include a biographical commentary in between readings of the poetry.
Unlike NAXOS's similar presentations, however, the commentary is usually very
short and not intrusive, and it has been cut into separate tracks, so it can
easily be playlisted out of your listening experience. The readers include
Derek Jacobi, David Horovitch, Diana Quick, Douglas Hodge, Nicol Williamson,
and others.
