Roxanne Bloom is surrounded by her friends who have all reached their 'happily
ever afters' and she is having a hard time putting on a happy face every time
she hears some wonderful news about a new baby or dream job. She certainly
doesn't want to be a part of Mrs. Needleman's meddling matchmaking attempts.

mish-mosh of Boxer, Staffordshire terrier (the less incendiary name for a pit bull)
and some kind of hound, possibly beagle.

Eli Gallagher is everything a woman could want. Except Roxie, since she has sworn
of all men. But Eli is the best dog trainer on the West Coast. Will he be able to
give Roxie and Lilith the strength and courage to trust not just in each other,
but possibly make them a family? Will Roxie finally get her happily ever after?
