This is not a cookbook. It is a history of Missouri cookbooks. The Fishers completed
extensive research to create an interesting bibliographic/historigraphical work about
Missouri cooking. They look at nineteenth-century cookbooks, ethnic cookbooks, festival
cookbooks and lots more. However, the Appendix is a collection of selected recipes.
