Shelby Foote's narrative history of the American Civil War is a major work
on a major subject and rewards the effort of reading it. This is the second
of three volumes: the first is already available and the third will follow
shortly. The MP3s are arbitrarily 15 minutes in length each; mainly to
ensure that almost any MP3 player or other equipment can hold and play enough
to keep the interested listener satisfied. Also soon to be available will be
the PDF versions of the books themselves.
