This one is knitted up on TWO NEEDLES - and can be used by anyone who knows how
to cast on and off - and work in stocking stich. The pattern requires DK yarn -
modern DK yarn and 4mm needles work perfectly. For US knitters use light weight
worsted and the same size needles. The pattern proved perfect for chariity work
needs, but it is also a great pattern to use for family or friends who may work
or spend time out in the cold weather. Try knitting a few rows extra before
starting any shaping. This gives extra length to the neck length of the balaclava
which then doubles as a snug scarf.
