The McAfee Installation Designer software allows an administrator to
pre-configure a VirusScan Enterprise or Desktop Firewall software
package for installation on another computer. This allows you to
configure the product for groups of computers all at once. Using a
graphical interface, the utility allows you to:
- Pre-set any install-time options for VirusScan Enterprise, Desktop
Firewall, or both.
- Select additional files to copy onto the system during installation
- Set registry keys in addition to those set by the installation.
- Install the most current DAT and engine files other than those that
shipped with the product.
- Modify the configuration of previous VirusScan Enterprise or Desktop
Firewall deployments.
