War is the final book in the True Reign trilogy. I struggled to finish this only because I didn’t want it to end! Every page I read took me closer to the end of the story for Rema and Darmik, but I have been so caught up in their adventure that I was dreading the words, The End. This has been one of my favorite series in a very long time. I work in a middle school and introduced the first book, The Key, to the students and staff. We went from one copy on a school device, to me standing at Barnes and Noble with all of the school Nooks to have it downloaded. The young students love this story, and so do the staff. Each chapter switches point of view from Rema to Darmik; this technique gives you a more rounded appreciation for the story lines. There are plenty of nail biting moments in this book. I found myself holding my breath more than once fearing for a characters life. The last half of the book was so full of action packed scenes I feel I need to re-read (like I won’t anyways..) just to feel that adrenaline rush again. You will not be disappointed with this series. I haven’t found a student or adult yet that has not loved every second! Definitely a must have book trilogy for all ages.
