rnThe "Clarity" slider in the DIGITAL GEM Plug-In dialog box provides an easy way to produce additional artistic effects. Users can achieve soft focus effects similar to those used in professional portrait studios by moving the slider to the left, the "soften" side. When the user moves the slider to the right, the "sharpen" side, image sharpening is applied, which surpasses most standard “unsharp mask” processes. DIGITAL GEM Plug-In also provides an effective way to remove or reduce JPEG artifacts and line screen patterns from digital images. rn
