If you are a jewelry, bead, or polymer artist and have never worked with PMC
(Precious Metal Clay) or Art Clay Silver, search for a class at an art center
or school (most urban areas and many college towns have one). You'll love the
medium, but won't incur the high start up expenses that come with it. Taking
a class will ease the financial burden and also prevent you from making some
costly errors. If you can't find a class, ah well, live dangerously...
These two books will guide you in all things metal clay; both are quite good,
well illustrated, and very inspirational. They make me long for a studio again.
