Autodesk has released Autodesk Revit 2024.0.2. This update are cumulative and include all changes from previously released Revit 2024 updates.
What’s New in Autodesk Revit 2024 In this release, we’ve combined eagerly anticipated additions, like Site Tools for landscape designers, with highly requested enhancements from the community, like Dark Theme and a more modern user interface.
Here are three of the highlights we’re especially excited to deliver:
Introducing Site Tools for Revit & Revit LT.
This new toolset supports the design and documentation of richly detailed landscapes. You can use Site Tools to:
- Collect and rationalize existing conditions data from CAD Imports, CSV point files, and more.
- Model your design intent freely and easily, with versatile site and massing tools for modeling topography.
- Populate schedules, sheets, and views and calculate material quantities. Cut, fill, join, and run phasing scenarios. Use the design-to-documentation engine of Revit to save time and improve design quality when modeling landscape and site conditions.
Save time in concrete detailing.
Structural engineers and rebar detailers have new capabilities for creating, scheduling, and documenting rebar. Use the new bar bending details to:
- Create reinforcement drawings and schedules with detailed fabrication instructions. With this new tool in Revit, when the model changes, the details adapt along with it.
- Add and customize rebar bending details so that your views and sheets respect your typical practice.
- Reduce errors and omissions in your document sets.
Evolve work together.
Link Coordination Model from Autodesk Docs into Revit makes it easier for project teams to sync and coordinate design deliverables. Keep project files light and teams on the same page.
- Link models and views from any of the 60+ formats supported by Docs and the Autodesk Construction Cloud directly into Revit.
- Underlay the coordination model as visual reference when designing in Revit.
- Reduce the need for interpretation when coordinating up-to-date design deliverables with partners and project teams.

- Integrated version 1.1.5 of OpenStudio CLI for Revit 2024. This version includes fixes for French language and security fixes.
- Improved stability when working with cable trays.
- Fixed an issue that caused an nested generic annotations in face-based families to become mirrored when the family is placed on vertical surfaces.
- Fixed an issue where users cannot create the same type of assembly for the identical pipeline contained in the Tap junction.
- Improved stability when renaming a view in the Project Browser and clicking Open.
- Fixed the inconsistent Japanese font issue on Project Browser to make it same with canvas and Property Palette.
- Improved stability after renaming level name from Project Browser and then clicking load family from Ribbon.
- Reinforcement - Bending Details in Schedules
- Fixed an issue where the angular dimension text position could not be set to a different value than dimension text position.
- Fixed an issue where the values of segment lengths for bending details incorrectly used the reinforcement rounding settings applied bar length rather than segment length.
- Improved stability when placing rebar by two points.
- Improved the stability when dimensioning bars in area reinforcement.
- Fixed an issue where sorting by time in the Version History page was not done in chronological order.
- Resolved an issue where users cannot create a route analysis when the model contains duct accessories.
- Fixed an issue when generating toposolid from an existing file that contains toposurface.
- Fixed an issue when editing slab shape editor points on different views.
- Improved stability when closing Revit.
- Fixed an issue where Revit would hang during startup if a color book with errors was added.
- Fixed an issue where annotations such as spot elevation, dimension, or tag disappear or become empty when the Revit model is closed and reopened.
- Fixed an issue when trying to create a wall of a wall type that was last used as a tapered wall which no longer supports the tapered cross-section.
- Fixed an issue where alternating between the wall tool and the family browser to create walls may result in incompatible cross-section parameters.
