This is Lutz's best Quinn/ serial killer novel yet. It has the same quirky cast of characters as his other Quinn novels with a chilling serial killer who challenges Quinn as he rampages through New York and environs. BUT, the best thing about this book is the secondary plot which takes us from war time Europe to the present day. This plot line involves a piece of rare missing art and a complicated family with so many twists and surprises that it's hard to know who's who. Read this book for the killer thrills, but also for the mysterious family plot.
