The program TIMBER Pro is integrated as add-on module into the
user interface of RSTAB. TIMBER Pro designs timber members
and/or sets of members on the basis of new design procedures
provided by the following standards:
EN 1995-1-1:2004-11+A1:2008
DIN 1052:2008-12
SIA 265:2003
A comprehensive cross-section library and an extendable
material library including standard-specific strength
parameters are provided.
Moreover, TIMBER Pro offers you an automatic cross-section
optimization with the possibility to export modified
cross-sections to RSTAB. In addition to stress designs, TIMBER
Pro carries out the stability analysis for members, either by
means of the equivalent member method or the second order
theory. Furthermore, the serviceability as well as the fire
resistance design can be performed. For the design according
to EN 1995 various national annexes are available for
selection.
