Baron will lead you through this easy-to-follow program designed to strengthen, lengthen and tone your body all while using the breath as the foundation to focus and relax through the postures.
Straight-forward and very easy to follow, it features exceptionally detailed, calm and confident cuing. You’ll get power yoga’s natural rhythm and fluidity at a little slower-than-usual pace. Baron uses that extra time to carefully explain both the pose’s technique and its day-to-day benefit (e.g. “this routine will strengthen …”). Instead of doing the moves himself, Baron is more like a personal trainer — he’s gently guiding his two assistants through each well-structured sequence. Throughout, he offers intensity modifications and lots of veteran-instructor-based tips on proper form (“be careful; the tendency here is to …”). ©2004.
