Popular yoga instructor Baron Baptiste presents a different style of yoga with this program on Power Vinyasa Yoga.
This beginner's video will teach you all you need to know to get going and focus on your focus weight loss and muscle tone.
This program is a 30 minute, moderate intensity vinyasa flow. It is similar in intensity with Baron's "Unlocking Athletic Power"
and "Core Power" programs in terms of length and difficulty. It's slightly more intense (mostly just by virtue of being
10 minutes longer) than his "Power Yoga Basics" program which is found on his "Transform Your Life, Yoga With Baron Baptiste"
which was originally aired on PBS.
This "Journey Into Power" Level 1 program is very well rounded, has clear instruction and a nice overall feel to it.
It's a class setting so you get to see lots of different ways of doing the poses.
Baron has a wonderful approach in that students should use their intuition to approach the poses at their own level of ability
or energy level on any given day. You should go to your own personal "edge" without going into overwhelm.

Fitness expert Baron Baptiste expands on the lessons of his first Journey Into Power video with this follow-up, designed
for both beginners and those with a certain amount of previous experience. Baron Baptiste's Journey Into Power, Level Two
features a forty-five minute workout, performed outdoors in an idyllic setting, which expands on the stretching and
movement techniques of Baptiste's first volume for a workout that can help promote weight loss, muscle tone, and increased
peace of mind.

Interview with Baron Baptiste
Baron Baptiste (Baron Baptiste), whose parents in 1955 opened the first yoga studio in San Francisco, is one of the most famous yoga teachers in the United States . With 12 years of Baptist studied classical yoga tradition along with such a physiologic directions as Ashtanga yoga, Iyengar and Bikram . He now teaches his own direction , modestly called Baptiste Power Yoga, to make yoga accessible to everyone .
Baron became a celebrity after he began teaching yoga Hollywood stars and made in training NFL players mode of yoga as a member of the coaching staff of the Philadelphia Eagles.
Just Baron was the author of many video on home practice , such as " Personal Revolution for 40 days " (40 Days To Personal Revolution, published by Simon & Schuster), " My dad - a pretzel . Yoga for kids and parents " (My Daddy Is a Pretzel, Yoga for Kids and Parents, published by Barefoot Books in 2004) , "Journey into force - as a pile perfect body " (Journey Into Power - How to Sculpt Your Ideal Body), " Liberate the true self " (Free Your True Self ) , and many others.
Currently working with Baron Baptiste Downy Fabric Softener on a new project as an expert. Job is to help women learn to constantly busy to find time for relaxation in this never-ending cycle of life.
YogaGid : How has your method (Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga)?
Baron Baptiste : Style your yoga practice I have developed over the years through trial and error , and, if something worked for me , I used it every day in their classrooms . I always focus on what "works" and discards what does not work. And now I'm looking for practical use around for people to not lose your time and gradually moved right to the results which they have designated for yourself . What my classes are visited by many Hollywood stars and professional athletes - it's true , but in fact , they are people just like every single one, and we are very similar to them that we all have about the same physical and emotional sensations , needs and desires.
The K : What Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga differs from other areas of yoga ?
BB: My direction is unique in that it is based on the principle of adaptation. That is, each practitioner can change and adapt each and every part of the asana practice to make his own , specifically suited him . All direction aims to encourage the practice of transformations starting from the level at which is currently engaged and moving steadily to the point where you can feel the results of the practice as to improve the overall development of the muscles, less stress and achieve a state of rapid relaxation. In other words, this style of practice is directed to each individual , based on the particular level of the practitioner , his physical and mental state. You do only what you can do. This is the main difference between my style from other yoga practices .
The K : What advice would you give to people who are considering yoga as part of a weight loss program ?
BB: If a person wants to transform his body, then nothing is impossible , but the main thing to do is to reorganize the installation of " know what to do " in the installation of 'making' . For example, everyone knows that natural, unprocessed food and low-carb diet - is the main key to weight loss , but this knowledge is not enough. All that is necessary to apply in practice. Find out where in your area of domicile teach yoga and practice at least 3-4 times a week to keep stress hormones at low levels , engage in meditation as well . Practice Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga, plus diet and relaxed thinking - are all key components for sustainable improvement of the physical and mental state . For maximum effect, you can add any other activities that you like .

Diet Baron Baptiste
This diet offers Bartist Baron in his book " Journey to the force." Baron has organized its direction in yoga. This yoga is more athletic , classes are conducted in a well- warmed room where about 30 degrees. The first 30 minutes are in a fairly rapid pace, where from one pose into the next. The next 30 minutes is basically stretching exercises on balance, abdominal exercises , well, 5 minutes rest . During the class usually all very sweaty , but it is considered a very good sign , as with sweat out toxins .
We now turn to the diet. It's not even called a diet , it's just a way of life, where preference is given to healthy food are excluded semi- canned . We exclude seven days caffeine, alcohol , sugar and dairy products, yogurt leave .
The first two days :
- Once it woke up , drink a large glass of warm water with half a lemon . You can add a spoonful of honey to sweeten it a little . This drink helps wash our digestive tract and help cleanse the breath ;
- Breakfast : fresh fruit, fresh fruit juice , yogurt can be a little fruit or yogurt , sprinkle with almond nuts and you can drink as much tea as you want ( without caffeine );
- Brunch : one serving of protein foods ( chicken breast, soy, fish ) , it can be steamed , baked in the oven , cook without adding oil. One serving of carbohydrates , such as brown rice (if you squeeze his hand into the cam , it is an exemplary portion of rice ) . Well, you can make a salad of vegetables, restrictions on the portions is not here , eat a salad as much as you want. You can spice it up with vinegar , lemon. Make it your biggest meal ;
- Snack : Fresh fruit or vegetables;
- Dinner: one serving of protein , one serving of carbohydrates, one serving of salad. Try to vary your diet. For dessert, you can eat fresh fruit or baked .
Days of the third , fourth and fifth - is unloading fruit days, it certainly sounds daunting, but two days of moderate power , we have already reduced your diet and hunger , we should not be. We can have so much fruit , what we want. Need to be resourceful , do yourself a salad of different fruit or freshly squeezed cocktail of juices. Remember that avocado and tomato fruits too , so you can make a salad or soup , such as tomato soup .
Sixth and seventh days - we repeat the diet for the first two days .
But after your diet is over, does not mean that you can go back to indiscriminate eating.
