P-47s were flown by fighter groups in the 5th, 7th, 10th, 14th and 20th Air Forces as well as the RAF, Mexican Air Force, etc. Twentieth AF fighter groups included the 413th, 414th and 507th FGs, each group's combat exploits - and markings - being summarized in a 1/2- to full-page history.
Naturally there's photos galore, over 140 black & white and 10 color snaps. Eight color pages of profiles courtesy of Don Greer are also featured.
