The Space Shuttle was designed and built by Rockwell International. The first named Enterprise, rolled out of the company's Palmdale, CA, plant 17 Sept 76. Rockwell would build five operational Shuttles, beginning with Columbia, followed by Challenger, Discovery, Atlantis, and Endeavour. Filled with specifications, facts, and pictures. This is a very interesting book that, by putting the info w/pictures, is educational as well.
