THE STRANGE WORLD OF DINOSAURS
No one knows for sure whether the creatures of the Age of Reptiles were vivid purples or quiet grays, but other than determining colors, paleontologists have succeeded in putting together the story of the dinosaurs. TJw Strange World of Dinosaurs tells how the detection begins with fossil hunting, and pictures the different families and species in their various habitats. Over one hundred halftone illustrations complement the text.

-- A fantastic book on dinosaurs written by one of the greats in paleontology. The contents are dated, and some ideas accepted back then are no longer true. This does not detract from the terrific illustrations and large amounts of still valid information found in the book. Written for children, I have fond memories of many library hours reading this book in school when I was young. It is truly a classic!

-- One of the best. Some of the facts about dinosaurs are a little outdated by today's standards, but has very sentimental value, especially when you're a dinosaur lover like me. Aesome pictures and everything.
