Hier handelt es sich nicht um einen Reiseführer, aber um ein sehr amüsantes Buch über diese Insel. Viele Illustrationen und eine Übersichtskarte. Nur noch antiquarisch zu beziehen. Der Name der Insel - Juist ... eine kleine Sanddüne im Wattenmeer ... ein Töwerland (Traumland) ... ein Juwel, in dem die Zeit stillzustehen scheint. Es gibt - auch heutzutage - keine Autos mit Verbrennungsmotor ... alles wird zu Fuß, mit dem Rad, per Pferd oder mit einer Kutsche erledigt. Und genau zu dieser Zeitreise paßt das Buch ... aufgebaut wie ein Tagebuch mit kleinen Illustrationen aufgelockert ... Ein Augenschmaus, der zum Schmunzel und zum Informieren einlädt - und vielleicht auch zu einem Kurzbesuch in diesem Naturparadies.
Bemerkung: Die 2. Auflage hatte noch keine ISBN-Nummer. Aber es gibt spätere Auflagen, die dann eine ISBN-Nummer (ISBN: 3937767088) tragen.
