Ronda - Rilke schrieb über diese Stadt: "Ich habe überall die geträumte Stadt gesucht, und endlich habe ich sie in Ronda gefunden" ... diese Stadt liegt malerisch über einer Schlucht der Serrania, die vom Fluß ausgewaschen wurde. Auf der einen Seite findet man die sog. "Altstadt", auf der anderen Seite die "Neustadt". Verbunden sind die beiden Stadtteile durch eine Brücke, die man bei der Annäherung als erstes von dieser Stadt sieht. Auf Grund ihrer Lage wird die Stadt als "Das Adlernest" bezeichnet und war Stätte zahlreicher Kämpfe. Neben dem Mondragon-Palast, der weltweit bekannten Brücke, den Kirchen und der Stierkampf-Arena, findet man hier auch das Stierkampf-Museum. Auch die Umgebung lädt mit ihrer wild-romantischen Landschaft zu zahlreichen Ausflügen ein. Mehr als nur ein Tagesflug ist Ronda auf jeden Fall.

Ronda - Rilke, who visited this city several times, wrote: "I searched the city of dreams everywhere and, at last, found it here in Ronda" ... this city sits pitoresque above a deep canyon, washed out by the river. One side of the canyon is occupied by the "Old Town", the "New Town" sits on the other side. The connection between these two parts is the famous Bridge of Ronda. This bridge is the first part you'll see, when arriving in Ronda. Because of the special situation of the town it is also called "The Eagles Nest" and was, in former times, often place of fights. Beside the sightseeing-point like Mondragon palace, the bridge, the churches and the bull-fight arena, you'll find the bull-fight museum and a city museum. Moreover you'll find tips for little trips in the surroundings. Ronda is more than a simple one-day-trip.
