This volume is the seventh annual performance review of ADB and the first to apply the revised corporate results framework. It evaluates ADB’s strengths and identifies areas where performance needs to be improved.

The book uses the 89 performance indicators of the revised framework to assess progress in implementing Strategy 2020, ADB’s long-term strategic framework.
The actions being proposed under the midterm review include measures to improve project performance, support efficient procurement (which in turn leads to higher disbursement), expand cofinancing, strengthen support for Public-private Partnerships, and ensure close alignment of ADB operations with Strategy 2020. These actions will therefore address the challenges identified by the 2013 development effectiveness review.
