You always hear "never judge a book by its cover." Circle of Reign is just such an occasion. The cover is probably the most intriguing cover I have seen in a long time, but yet it doesn't do the book justice. Jacob Cooper did a masterful job with bringing a whole new "light" to my eyes. His attention to detail is amazing. I have seen the world of Arlethia. I have heard their cries of battle, and tasted of their victories. I have smelled a summer storm in the mists of their forests. I have felt pain of its inhabitants, both physical and emotional. I have shed tears with their misery. Not very many books have kept me up all night like this one and I am not a fantasy reader. As for being the first book in a series I believe the "best is yet to come."
