I am a huge fan of Alessandra Torre, she is amazingly talented. Her writing style is seductive and erotic, her characters are always strong and mysterious, and her stories always unique and highly addictive. The Dumont Diaries is no different and I am having a hard time trying to decide which of her books I like best. I am thinking I have to go with a tie. She has quickly become one of those authors for me where I will read anything she puts to paper. So having had the opportunity to read The Dumont Diaries as part of the mini series; To Have, To Hold, To Death, Do Us Part was a thrill for me and now both fans and those who have yet to meet this talented author can get these amazing stories in one book.
The Dumont Diaries follows Candance, a down on her luck stripper living pay check to pay check. When that isn't enough to get by on she isn't opposed to taking matters into her own hands or mouth *wink wink* to earn a few extra bucks. When a mysterious customer continues to come into the Crystal Palace to utilize her services she is instantly attracted and equally intrigued. Without a name and with very little communication between the two, BlueEyes makes her an offer she cant refuse; one night with him, lots of money for her. From that point on Candance is thrown into a life of secrets, lies, marriage , death, and sex. Lots and lots of steamy, sweaty, pulse pounding, don't ever stop writing like this sex. I can't really give away too much more than that vague description with out ruining the rest of the story because believe me you will want to read it for yourself and experience everything it has to offer. And once you do you will be so very happy that you did.
