Steven Brust "Hawk (Vlad)"
Tor Books | English | October 7, 2014 | ISBN: 076532444X | 320 pages | azw, epub, lrf, mobi | 3,1 mb
There are a few great days a year. One of my favorites is when Brust puts out another Vlad novel. It feels so good to fall into the world of characters I love and experience another story. All of the stuff we love is in there and the dialogue is snappy, smart ass, razor sharp wit that I expect but still had me laughing out loud. The action is always exciting and the build up to the climax is the best part that kept me chasing pages long after I should have gone to sleep. The only bad part of these books is that I consume them so quickly and then having to wait until the next one is published. With the dreadful slew of poorly written fantasy out there this series by Brust stands out a the very top of my must read list for the interesting and vividly imagined characters, great world building and intricate plots.
If you have never read on the series then you can certainly enjoy this one but the nuances and references are much better if been through the whole collection. I cannot wait for more!
