Gage is the stand-alone book that can also be viewed as a follow up to the rain shadow series. I loved Rain Shadow and it's characters, including Gage but in his own book, boy does he shine. Seriously, Gage is the Barringer brother for me!! He's a rugged tough guy who gets what he wants from women, no strings attached. Then Summer walks into his life and everything changes. He's the perfect balance of a gentlemen and a beast, a sweeetheart and yet he can be quite the dick and I love him for it all. Tess does a great job of really letting you see her characters in all their good and bad moments, of letting you feel their emotions. She takes you on a splendid ride with this story. It's not as heavy as the Rain Shadow series and a quick little read but worth every moment!!! You'll fall in love!
