Douglas Brunt "The Means: A Novel"
Touchstone | English | September 16, 2014 | ISBN: 1476772576 | 352 pages | azw, epub, lrf, mobi | 3,2 mb
The novel starts slow. Douglas Brunt shows a realistic picture of US politics, law and media. He (too) slowly develops the characters. Nevertheless, the novel becomes thrilling, when the characters start to intertwine with each other. Of course, the characters are either simple good or bad, but are more realistic than in House of Cards (I love this show) except the lesbian first lady (which is not even necessary for any twist of the plot). Again, the plot is thrilling. The second half of the book is very exiting. The relative open end is fantastic.
