This is the second book of considered a fantastic series that on its own is epic and grand in scale. Action, Fantasy, Humor, Ancient Myths, Mystical Creatures and vivid imagination sweeps you away in none stop thrill ride that will literally take your breath away. There are some sex scenes in the story that were tasteful and not vulgar, which I felt fit in well with the overall storyline. The plot is definitely interesting and can be seen from different POV perspectives. All if not most of the characters are developed to there fullest. Each has their own unique qualities and Author Carrie Shepherd did a wonderful job in developing their personalities in a memorable fashion.
It is also a great follow up to the first book in the series and the ending tees up the third book. All and all it took my breath away and filled me with anticipation of the next book in the series.
