This book originates in part from a series of graduate and undergraduate sea ice field courses taught, and provides an introduction to and overview of sea ice field measurements

This handbook may be a useful resource for students and others with an interest in the field. Given the breadth of research methods and disciplines represented in field courses and modern studies of sea ice, an international collaborative effort appeared to be a promising approach in compiling material for such a resource.
