Mixing EDM is a two part tutorial. The first part is a walkthrough from "faders up" to the final master of the song "Clouds." The second part is a collection of workshops meant to explore key ideas in the mixing process.

The intention of the tutorial is to watch the walkthrough and then the workshops in order. The multitracks to "Clouds" are also provided. It is recommended that after watching the tutorial series (or even while watching the tutorials), you create your own mix of "Clouds."

The information provided in this tutorial takes two forms: conceptual information that will make you a better mixer the more you put it into practice, and tips/techniques that you should be able to readily apply to your very next mix. After watching the tutorial your next mix should show notable improvement. However, the main goal of the tutorial is to speed up your learning curve. Mixing takes years and years of practice. By taking in the information in this tutorial you'll be able to make bigger strides in your mixing and see faster improvement overall. The improvements you would normally see in five years will hopefully become apparent in two or three.
