John Coyne - 4 novels eBooks €1 buy download
Fury
Coyne's latest excursion (after The Fearing ) into horror is fast-paced and readable. Jennifer Winters, a young New York lawyer, runs into an old friend and, on a lark, goes with her to a presentation given by internationally known channeler Kathy Dart. Thereafter, Jennifer finds herself subject to bestial rages and, when angered, endowed with extraordinary strength (which she uses with savage abandon). It seems that one of her past lives is somehow beginning to take over her present one; worse yet, an ancient enemy from prehistoric days has returned to stalk her. Coyne does a fine job feeding the reader necessary background information about channeling and reincarnation and keeps events moving fast enough that the various loose ends are quickly forgotten

The Legacy
Six beautiful people arrive for a weekend in the country. Six guests of the unseen host who lies wasting away upstairs. Five heirs to a mysterious Legacy watch the body of the sixth float to the side of the pool. Four claim the unspeakable power of the Legacy, while a red stain spreads across the ceiling. Three realize that the Legacy has come to claim them, while outside a dog dines a thing that was once a man. And then there are two.

Hobgoblin
Written back in the days when Dungeons & Dragons was at it's most popular, this is a book about a teenage boy who gets caught up in the character he plays in a role playing game based on Irish mythology. It is a thrill of a book with many twists and turns. The lead character may just be a bit insane but he is not completely off his rocker. The things he sees may not be real but there is deffinately something strange going on in this town he and his mother have come to live in. John Coyne puts together a great tale of seemings and dreamings. What is real? What is fantasy? "Hobgoblin" comes to a close with a very satisfying end. All is explained, there are no loose ends. I highly recomend this book.

The Shroud
I JUST FINISHED THIS BOOK TWO DAYS AGO.MY LEAST FAVORITE COYNE BOOK I'VE READ SO FAR BUT NEVER THE LESS AN INCREDIBLE BOOK.IT IS SIMIALAR TO THE PIERCING IN THE SENSE OF A LOT CATHOLIC DOGMA AND BELIEVES.
TAKE A SMALL TOWN LIKE McPATCH WHERE THE HOMELESS ARE DISAPPERING OFF THE STREETS,A PRIEST WHO HAS STRANGE VISIONS OF PAST LIVES AND THE WOMAN HE'S FALLING FOR WHO HAS A FEW STRANGE ENCONTERS OF HER OWN.WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN? HOW DOES IT ALL TIE TOGETHER? YOU WON'T KNOW TILL THE VERY END!
