Ben Lo is a conventional English carpenter — he lived in a trailer in the woods and there were no signs of trouble. But he planned to settle down, start a family, build a nice house. But the means are not allowed. Had to build their own and free from local materials. He decided that the frame will serve as the trunks of chestnut, which grows nearby, the walls will be straw bales, shingles of shingles.
Fame came to him after shooting in the Grand Design programme on channel 4 British TV. He didn't think it would be tight to do the construction. But then I realized that once it was shown on TV, on the stove don't lie down, so I started my own construction business. Since then he has released several books and this DVD.
