"Rules of design" — a series of six films on the basic rules of design spaces in which we live. Renowned British designer Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen talks about the basics of interior design, the influence of color, light, textures and furniture placement. The films will be of interest not only to designers but to all those who have conceived to make repairs in his apartment and looking for inspiration.
1. Space and planning (Space and Planning).
As a rule, we live in a small and poorly lit homes. If you are not able to move wall - will have to work with what we have, and to use the rules of design to make the space look bigger.
2. Color (Colour).

4. Textures and Patterns (Textures and Pattern).
Patterns and textures is closely related elements of design. Patterns and textures affect the overall feel of the space, create atmosphere and even deceiving your eyes, making the room look bigger than it actually is.
5. Balance and order (Balance and Order).
This series is about things that turn this house into a home. The line between order and chaos is extremely thin. After repairs to the room is returned to atmosphere, the things you use every day or which have special meaning for you. And most do it completely wrong.
6. Individuality (Personality).
No matter how the same look of the building. Behind each door, behind each wall, behind each window hides a destabilizing factor, and that is you. It's time to talk about individuality.
