In this course, we are going to create an illustration full of energy that has sense of motion using a combination of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe illustrator. During this course we will go through all the steps to successfully implement energy and motion to our ‘skateboarder’ central figure. Firstly in Adobe illustrator by creating a cool graphic vector illustration of the skateboarder central figure, using a stock Photo as reference. We will explore applying a combination of cool bright colors to achieve a unique look for our central figure. Whilst drawing our central figure in Adobe illustrator we will be using the Pen Tool, Brushes, the Gradient Annotator and much more. We will also draw some abstract shapes and swoosh’s that will be used when we cross over into Photoshop to construct the main composition over into Photoshop to construct the main composition. Next we will cross over into Adobe and employ energy and motion to the illustration composition. Firstly we will add scanned hand draw pen stokes to the composition then manipulate them effects such as Motion and Radial Blurs and also Layer Styles. We will continue administering life and energy through mixed-media elements such as watercolour splatters in addition to vitiating Brush Stroke application. Lastly we will use the Brush Tool to draw Pencil like lines giving our vector illustration a somewhat sketch like look.
