On the pages of the book you can find a narrative about the first experience of Kidis with drugs at the age of 12 when his father, later known under the pseudonym of Blackie Dammit, acquainted him with the world of marijuana, and then taught how to use the drug, smearing it on a banana. Not surprisingly, over the years, Anthony's dependence increased. Despite all the successes that he did in his studies and the hopes associated with it, Anthony never graduated from the Institute of Cinematography in Los Angeles (UCLA), focusing on finding a buzz and playing with a garage rock band consisting of his school friends - Hillela Slovaka and Flea (Michael Belzari).
Kiedis also describes his failed attempts to quit drugs after the death of his friend Hillel from an overdose in 1988. However, in 1994, Kiedis returned to this, unable to withstand the effect of an anesthetic at a dentist's reception. Today, Kydis claims that he has not taken since 2000.
In addition to memories of drugs and the dangers that can be expected by a person along the way, Anthony also tells many interesting things about his becoming an artist. He retells his unique way, not like the others. This book allows you to trace the very development of Kiedis as a person and the birth of rock genius.
