In the compilation of the book entitled "Rise of the Ogre" ("Becoming the Beast"), all four participants of the Gorillaz - 2D vocalist, bass player Murdoch, guitarist Noodle and percussionist Russell - took part. Cass Brown, the longtime friend of one of the founders of Damon Albarn's project, directed the "drums" on the solo album of the musician "Mali Music" and helped Gorillaz as a drummer at their "live" concerts.
The publication contains 256 full-color pages that will inform the reader about the "children's years" of the participants of Gorillaz, the originally planned composition of the group and the brightest moments of their career. All sorts of gossip, scandals and scandals accompanying the career of any star will not be overlooked either - and Gorillaz is exactly that.
The book is generously provided with illustrations and photographs (including personal photo albums of the group members). The graphic design of "Rise of the Ogre" is dealt with by artist Jamie Hewlett, "father of the native" Gorillaz.
