Let's face it, it's here and it's not going away. IPv6 is going to displace IPv4 soon as IPv4 is depleted. Unfortunately, many network security engineers know IPv4 well; however, IPv6 is not in their radar. This class aims at providing the distilled knowledge that you need to both understand IPv6 fundamentals.

The covered topics include IPv6 addressing understanding, IPv6 header, EUI-64, ICMPv6 and what role it plays in the IPv6 protocol. You will understand the IPv6 SLAAC configuration concept and how statefull DHCP works with Palo Alto firewall configuration examples.

This class shows an example of how to implement IPv6 in a network environment using Palo Alto firewalls and provides an understanding on Network Address translation concepts including; NPTv6 and NAT64.
