The book of the Israeli researcher Nurit Shlyayfman is devoted to the history of the party of Socialist-Revolutionaries (SRs) from the moment of foundation until the beginning of the First World War. The main research issue is the pernicious activities of gendarme seksotov in the Socialist-Revolutionary ranks. A lot of attention was paid to Evno Azef, there was a place for Zinaida Zhuchenko and Tatyana Tseitlin, Alexander Petrov and Solomon Riss (in the book he was why he was called Semyon) and other not so scandalous provocateurs. Schleifman's work is one of the few "conditional" foreign monographs on the history of the Socialist-Revolutionary Party.
