May 1917, the States recognized as a good moment to enter the war - all said that its end is close, and therefore, "it's time to share our money." And already on January 8, 1918, President Woodrow Wilson took a step in recognizing the legitimacy of the Leninist government, hastening to jump out of the allied train at the Brest-Litovsk station to the indescribable joy of the remaining passengers. By a strange coincidence, it was at this time that Wilson canceled the decision to appoint Reed as the American consul in the country of the Soviets. The journalist by nature was a man of pride, and not without reason believed that he was given to a pig by an American intelligence officer, with whom he had rather intricate relationships. And as soon as the frame in the epaulettes published documents exposing the Leninists, our American internationalist decided that he finally had a great opportunity to adequately respond to the opponent.
