SQL Impact provides impact analysis, documentation, and auditing
capabilities to manage and report dependencies between database
objects and SQL from application source code.

SQL Impact's impact analysis process determines precisely which
components of an application will be affected by structural
changes to the database. SQL Impact can be used to drill down to
specific lines of code affected by the change. SQL Impact can even
initiate an editing session to perform and test required code
changes immediately.

To benefit from SQL Impact's analysis you need to register your
source code with SQL Impact. During the registration process, SQL
Impact scans your code to find and parse as much SQL as it can.
SQL Impact then loads the SQL into the SQL Impact repository. SQL
Impact generates impact analysis information by comparing the
database's data dictionary with SQL Impact's repository.
